Tattoo Removal

Laser Tattoo Removal requires the use of a specialized laser called a Q-Switch Yag laser.  At Clean Canvas More Art, all laser treatments are performed with the Hoya ConBio Medlite C6 and Revlite SI Lasers. Both of these lasers are safe for most skin types, and can effectively remove most colors of tattoo pigment.

Factors such as the way the tattoo was applied, the color of the inks used, and the placement of the tattoo on your body, all play a role in how the tattoo pigment will break up. Typically blue, green and white pigments are less responsive to treatment.

Laser treatments typically take 15 minutes or less. We offer topical anesthetics with all treatments at no additional fee. All laser treatments include the use of a Zimmer chiller, which produces cold condensed air that helps to keep you comfortable during your treatment.

Initially, treatments are scheduled 7 to 10 weeks apart. As the tattoo pigment breaks up, the laser treatments are scheduled further apart to assure the best results possible from each treatment.

Laser Tattoo Removal requires multiple laser treatments. The process is individualized and customized for your tattoo. The number of treatments needed to removal a tattoo varies from person to person, and from tattoo to tattoo. On average, a removal may take 6 to 10 laser treatments, and will typically take 18 to 22 months.
